Beyond the NVR’s built-in AI skills, MX08POE can also record & utilize camera-based AI detection features too, like abandoned or missing object detections, and tripwire/area intrusion violations. MX08POE is also capable of recording business analysis data – Audio Detect, People Counting, and Heat Map from IC Realtime’s FlexSmartAi cameras with built-in Intelligent Business Analytics.
AI Detection & Recognition
Our latest MX08POE edition adds Human / Vehicle Recognition and Face Detection/Recognition with a secure onboard database. And it brings the 2.0 version of Intelligent Motion Detection (iMD) and perimeter Protection to MX08POE that reduces the number of camera pixels needed for reliable detections. Both systems increase accuracy by loading an already human-trained, deep-learning algorithm that recognizes people and vehicles. Tripwires allow intelligent automation based on the object type within a limited area such as pedestrian or vehicle-only areas. Alerts containing human and/or vehicle intrusion events now achieve up to 95% accuracy for far fewer false alarms.

MX08POE’s adaptability makes it the perfect “future-proof” replacement & upgrade for legacy 8-channel NVRs. Its massive video processing overhead means it can meet the challenges of even the newest 4K multi-megapixel cameras. The NVR’s ONVIF 22.06 (Profiles T/S/G) and CGI, SDK and HTML5 compatibility lets it handle 3rd party cameras.

NVR-MX08POE-1U16MP1 has 2 SATA-III hard drive bays that can handle drives up to 16TB each for 32TB max onboard, way beyond lesser 8-channel NVRs. Plus, MX08POE is not only H.264 & H.265 stream compatible, but with IC Realtime cameras, it can use our Smart H.265+ codec. That innovative compression format uses a scene-adaptive encoding strategy, dynamic ROI & GOP, and a flexible AI multi-frame reference structure with video noise reduction for lossless, high-quality video. Why? Because Smart H.265+ reduces bit rate and storage requirements by up to 70% when compared to standard H.265 video compression.
